this site is done for my beautiful daughter kirsty anne myerscough from bargoed, mid glamorgan. kirsty was only 15 when she was sadly taken away from me and her three brothers on 26th august 2007. kirsty was a fun, loving girl who lived life to the full, she was always here for me, helping me with her little brothers, coming shopping with me and helping with the housework, nothing was ever too much for her when it came to her helping me. we were really close, most of our friends said we are more like sisters than mam and daughter. kirsty was always a good girl, she was not a usual teenage girl, even though she did like a fag and a few cans on her birthday and special occasions she never got herself in any trouble. she always listened to me and knew i only had her best interests at heart. i just wish that id made her come home that dreadful night instead of agreeing for her to stay out at her friends party, i will never forgive myself for letting her stay out that night, i keep thinking that if i had told her to come home she would still be here with me now where she belongs.i cant accept that god only gave her to me to lend and that we all have a time on the earth plain cos i think thats so cruel.i cannot come to terms with losing my daughter and i know this pain will be with me until i can join her in heaven. i know my lil girl is safe now with my nan and grancha but it dont make things any easier, i still miss her everyday and i still wish there was something i could do to bring her back home. kirsty will always be in my heart and i will always love her, you are my only daughter and you mean everything to me. all you ever wanted out of life was to have a baby and that was taken away from us. i can still remember the police officer knocking on the door that morning and telling me you were gone, it felt like someone had ripped my heart out. i know i will never get over losing my beautiful lil girl and i will never forgive myself for not being there. i was supposed to be the one to fix everything for her and make everything better but this time i cant do anything and that hurts so much. seeing kirsty there in the chapel broke my heart and i still feel that pain everyday. all i wanted to do was wake her up but there was nothing i could do. i never got the chance to say goodbye but i dont want to say goodbye, only goodnight and god bless because i know one day we will be together again. kirsty is my lil girl and i miss her soooo much that its tearing me apart. i love you my beaut, sleep peacefully sweetheart love and kisses always mammy xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

A time of year
To think of love and sharing
A time of peace
For the whole world to cherish
A time to be with all your friends and family

A Merry Christmas
Making angles in the snow
or sliding down a hill
roasting chestnuts on the fire
takes away the chill
Candy canes and mistle toe
and grand-ma’s home made pie
Ginger bread and hot co-co
You know it’s Christmas time
Seasons come and seasons pass
but we still remember
the joy we shared on Christmas last
looking forward to next December
Flowers bloom, then pumpkins grow,
then suddenly it starts to snow.
Then our hearts are young again
You know it’s Christmas time.
On Christmas eve
Santa will soon be coming
with lots of toys
for girls and boys to play with.
